The species name multiseriatus means “many rows”, referring to the rows of punctures on the elytra.

Identification
Green to dark red or brown. Underside green to dark red or brown; thorax with dense, long, erect, white hair, except on midline; abdomen with sparse, short, flat, white hair. Legs red brown; tarsi black, with green reflections.

Clypeus: Contracted before apex; front margin abruptly recurved; apex square.
Foretibia
Foretibia: Two distinct tibial teeth.
Metaventral process
Metaventral process: Tapered; flat; apex overhanging forecoxae.
Pygidium
Pygidium: Green to dark red or brown; with very short, flat, white hair.

Anoplognathus prasinus
Anoplognathus multiseriatus is somewhat similar in size and shape to A. prasinus, but are darker with no cream to brown border on the margins and suture of its elytra.
